A very good example of an early post-war Baedeker.
There were only three editions (1949,1952 and 1963) of Schleswig-Holstein published covering the northern most part of Germany. Apart from Hamburg the main cities included are Lübeck and Kiel.
Second edition, lxxviii, 317pp, 4 maps, 4 plans, 155 drawings, 52 coat of arms; publisher's red cloth gilt, a very good copy.
