Scarce. Entertaining narrative of a journey across Mongolia and Siberia, mostly by sled. Hong Kong to St. Petersburg via Canton, Shanghai, Peking, Mongolia, Irkutsk, Lake Baikal, etc. Not listed in Cordier although the author's The route from Tientsin to Kiachta was in the Proceedings of the Royal Geographical Society for 1870 and is listed.
