Born Henri-Lucien Lambert (1816-1909), painted on porcelain (particularly flowers) as well as watercolours. He is principally known for decorating porcelain. He first exhibited at the 1868 salon.

First edition; Title and index, with 80 numbered, full colour plates, loose within original printed linen-backed portfolio with ties. Folio (54 x 35 cm). Several plates with different colour backgrounds. Cloth split.
