Gordon Parks (1912-2006) was an American photographer, musician, writer and film director, who became prominent as a photojournalist in the 1940s through 1970s, particularly on issues of civil rights, poverty and African-Americans, but he also won renown for his glamour photography.
First edition, fourth printing; signed presentation copy from the artist; 4to (c. 270 x 260 mm.); photographic portraits throughout; publisher's red cloth, dust-jacket, a fine, sharp copy.
