An attractive set of the I Claudius books memorably filmed by the BBC and even in this condition extremely hard to find.

First editions, first impressions; 8vo; publisher's black cloth, titles to spines gilt, book-pate to front paste-down of first, dust-jackets, that of the first title bookplate to front paste-down, that of the first somewhat worn and chipped with piece missing at base of spine, Claudius the God is also a little frayed but bright albeit with some typical rubbing at the spine, in all a good set.
