First edition, first impression, deluxe issue, being one of only 60 copies, signed by the Author; 8vo; 3 tinted plates, vignettes and pictorial endpapers by Rex Whistler; publisher's purple vellum with gilt vignette to upper cover, yapp edges, top edge gilt, others uncut, dust-jacket with slight discolouration to strip along top of both panels, slight bowing (as usual) and soiling to vellum covers.
