FAULKNER, William
The Sound and the Fury.
The Sound and the Fury.
Stock Code 109994
New York, Jonathan Cape and Harrison Smith, 1929
First edition, first printing, first issue dust-jacket. 8vo; publisher's white cloth-backed, patterned grey and white boards, titles to spine in black, black top stain. With the dust-jacket. Page stock a little browned as usual, trace of spotting to spine as often, a very decent copy in the nicked and rubbed dust-jacket with some internal tape residue, a small scuff to the rear panel, and the usual fading at the spine. Despite all the above this remains a better than average copy of the author's masterpiece.
