Presentation copy. A collection of short-stories by one of the masters of that medium, Kiss Kiss includes the apiologically disconcerting 'Royal Jelly' and an early version of what was to become Danny: the Champion of the World.
With the author's fine, inscribed presentation inscription to the front free endpaper, 'To Frank with love on his birthday from Roald and Oat 14 Jan. 1968'.

First UK edition, first printing, inscribed by the author; 8vo; unmarked internally; publisher's green cloth, gilt lettering to spine, pink edges, slight fading to cloth at spine ends, with the unclipped dust-jacket, slightly toned, head of spine chipped with loss, annotations in blue ink to rear panel, else very good.
