First edition; large folio (61 x 45 cm), 16 hand-coloured lithographs partly finished by hand, lithographed by Cicéri and Adams after drawings by the author, printed by Lemercier in Paris, wood-engraved illustrations in the text, contemporary black half morocco gilt over publisher's blue pictorial cloth boards gilt, spine a little worn, a very good copy.
