This was published with the boards in either blue or cream but neither has priority over the other.

First edition, first or second printing; 16mo; colour frontispiece and 26 plates, some offset soling to lower margin of p. 46, less so onto p.47, neither affecting the illustration, otherwise very good; publisher's blue paper-covered boards with fielded illustrative paste-down of Mrs. Tittlemouse, slightly discoloured and dulled with age but in main, near-fine.
