Thick 4to (245 x 180 mm);illustrated with engraved full-page plates, after various artists, sporadic spotting heavier to preliminary and terminal leaves, especially the half-title and adjacent endpapers but sill internally good; very handsome contemporary full morocco, sumptuously gilt panelled and decorated, all edges gilt, spine darkened, rubbed and lightly soiled, otherwise very good.
