First edition thus limited to 600 copies of which this is number 264; 4to (300 x 230 mm); 11 plates, further diagrams in-text, edges untrimmed, a few minor spots to the upper margin of a few plates, such as that opposite p. 68, publisher's green cloth, paper title label on spine, spine somewhat faded and abraded on one corner, some minor spotting to untrimmed fore-edges but barely encroaching onto leaves, otherwise very good and internally near-fine.
