First American edition, first impression; 8vo; portrait frontispiece, slight offsetting to title, small mark to front free endpaper, Markham bookplate to front pastedown; publisher's black cloth, silver lettering to spine, with the unclipped dust-jacket, slightly toned and marked, one or two short closed tears to top edge, else very good.
