A collection of nine erotic Hindu love stories with beautiful colour illustrations and unusual printing style. Inscribed by Champsaur and Lorenzi to Georges Foussier, with a separate letter from Lorenzi to Foussier and a small poem inserted loose in the volume. Scarce
Limited edition numbered no 19 of 95 on papier Impérial Japon (total number of copies 475); folio (37 x 29 cm), 312 pp, signed by both the author and the illustrator on half title, one manuscript letter by the illustrator and a manuscript poem from the author inserted loose before half title, interleaved pages of various sizes, 28 plates in five colours with 28 additional black and white plates at the rear; bound in contemporary brown calf, art deco style spine with gilt lettering and flower design, slight wear on spine, overall a fine copy.
