Scarce. William Dawson Hooker (1816-1840), physician and botanist, undertook a journey to northern Norway in 1836, to study the flora and fauna and local customs. He was the son of Sir William Jackson Hooker, botanist and Director of Kew Gardens.
Second edition. 8vo, inscribed by the author, 123 pp., 4 lithograph plates, original brown coated wrappers, spine worn, occasional light browning, small marginal damp stain to plates, a good copy.
