A scarce account of Nepal. In 1851 he accompanied Jang Bahadur on his return to Nepal after his embassy to England. Includes a chapter on the trade of Nepal at that time. Includes some big game adventures including tiger hunting.

First edition. Small 8vo, x, 214 pp., four pages ads dated May 1852 at end, frontispiece map, original red printed boards lettered in black, rebacked red calf, a very good copy.
