Folio (50 x 37 cm); engraved title page and privilege, 63 plates of which 38 are double-page or folding (lacking plates 5 and 6), lower edge of some leaves restored, traces of dampstaining to lower margin; contemporary marbled calf, spine gilt in compartments, gilt lettering to spine, boards slightly worn, corners rubbed, marbled endpapers, a very good example.
