First edition in the variant blue cloth; 4to (230 x 175 mm); eight colour illustrations, four by Greenaway and four by Crane, with additional colour title, contemporary ink gift-inscription to verso of upper free endpaper, dated January 1st /80 (as in 1880), slight age-toning and offsetting to half-title from gift-inscription, the odd random spot, otherwise very good; publisher's pictorial cloth, rubbed at extremities, otherwise very bright indeed.
