Single folio, illuminated manuscript on fine polished paper, in Arabic, containing the end of Surah ar-Rum and the beginning of Surah Luqman, c. 450 x 300 mm; single column, 14 lines fine black muhaqqaq script, surah heading in blue, some vocalisation in red, gilt verse markers highlighted in blue, four decorated marginal ornaments marking important divisions in the text, in glue, green and red heightened in gold, small repair in blue paper to the lower edge of the page affecting a small amount of text, some light finger-soiling and browning, framed and glazed. 450 x 300mm (17¾ x 11¾ inches).
