IV. Tropical Birds, inscribed and dated, 'To Francis / for his birthday / with love from Sacheverell Sitwell / Weston 17 September 1949'.

V. Audubon's American Birds, inscribed and dated, 'To / Francis for his birthday / with love from / Sacheverell Sitwell / Weston 17 September 1949'.

First editions, each inscribed by the author to Francis Sitwell; 5 vols, 8vo; plates after contemporary prints (first work), Heideloff and Ackermann (second work), Jane Louden (third work), John Gould (4th work), and J.J. Audubon (fifth work), small ink stain to lower margin of second work (not affecting illustrations), some light offsetting to each work; publisher's printed boards, corners slightly rubbed, each work with its pictorial dust-jacket, light wear and toning to extremities, otherwise a handsome set.
